Let us show you how our app works, both as a parent/guardian, and as the stranger that finds your child and scans the QR code on your child’s smartband
How It Works
As a parent
Once the band arrives, all you need to do is scan the QR code on the band and you’ll be taken to our app, where you’re able to register your account, and your child’s band.
- Scan the QR code to register
- When registering, you enter your mobile phone number and email address
- You’re able to add photos of yourself (so the finder of the child can recognise you)
- You can add notes of your child’s medication (if any), medical conditions (if any) and any other notes that you feel would be beneficial
As a stranger
If your child becomes lost and are found by a stranger, once the stranger scans the QR code on the band, they will be given multiple ways to contact you
- Once the QR code is scanned, the stranger will be able to phone you
- The stranger can share their exact location and you will receive this by email and text message instantly
- The location will show in Google Maps, so you can pinpoint the exact location of your child
- The stranger will be able to see your child’s medication (if any), medical conditions (if any) and any other notes that you may have added in the app
